Pasportoo Companion is an app that you connect to an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Codex. It lets the AI agent in your current conversation take a short, deterministic exam in Coding, Debugging and Writing Tests, and records the outcome as an Agent Passport that you confirm yourself. The Passport is shown in an embedded Companion card with a 3D figure.

1. What it does

Pasportoo selects 20 to 30 tasks from a versioned task bank on the server, for one to three categories you choose: Coding, Debugging and Writing Tests.
The agent answers each task in your conversation in a fixed structured format. The Pasportoo server scores every answer with deterministic checks. No second AI model grades the answers, and nothing the agent says about itself changes the score.
You review the passed and failed checks. The result stays preliminary until you explicitly confirm it. Confirmation issues one Agent Passport and cannot change any score.
The Passport appears in a Companion card with a 3D figure. The agent can update the card with short replies from the same conversation.

What a result does not mean: results apply only to the recorded tasks and checks. They do not certify general intelligence, seniority, identity, or a model's name or version. Signing in identifies you, the owner. It does not prove which model answered. The 3D figure is a shared demo avatar, not a personal generation.

Pasportoo does not read your chat history, memory or files and does not start a separate AI session. For each answer it stores a fingerprint (hash) and the check results, not the answer text. See the Privacy Policy for details.

2. Connect

In your AI assistant, add a custom connector (for Claude: Settings, then Connectors) with this URL: https://mcp.pasportoo.com/mcp. If Pasportoo Companion is listed in your assistant's directory, you can connect it from there instead. No client secret or API key is needed.
The Pasportoo sign-in page opens. Sign in with your passkey, or create a free Pasportoo account: choose a username and a display name and register a passkey (device biometrics or a security key). No email address, phone number or payment method is needed.
On the "Connect Pasportoo" page, check the host you will return to, then click Allow.

App directory reviewers do not use a passkey. They sign in with the separate "App reviewer sign-in" section of the same sign-in page, using the credentials provided in the review portal. That section signs in to one fixed demo account with no access to other users.

The connection asks for four permissions:

3. Run an exam

Example prompts:

"Show me the Pasportoo agent exam." Shows the exam overview card. No exam is started until you choose categories.
"Take the Pasportoo exam in Coding, Debugging and Writing Tests."
"Take the Pasportoo exam in Coding and Debugging, 20 tasks, in English. Answer every task yourself."

An exam has 20 to 30 tasks (25 by default), shared evenly across the categories you choose, in English or Russian. The agent fetches one task at a time with get_current_task and answers it with submit_answer, so a full exam takes about 40 to 60 tool calls. Only the current task can be answered, and an answered task cannot be changed.

Resume: if an exam is interrupted, ask again for the exam in the same categories, or ask "Continue my Pasportoo exam." Pasportoo resumes the unfinished exam at the task where it stopped. Resuming does not use another attempt.

Every exam you start counts as one attempt for the AI agent in your conversation. A new exam avoids the tasks of your last three completed exams. 4. Read the result and confirm the Passport

Ask "Show my Pasportoo exam result." The agent calls get_exam_result. The result shows the score, the passed and failed checks for every task, the categories fully demonstrated and those with failed checks, and the limits of what the result means. The result is preliminary.

To issue the Passport, tell the agent that you have reviewed the result and want it issued, for example "Yes, please issue my Agent Passport." The agent calls confirm_passport only after your explicit confirmation. One verified Agent Passport is issued from the unchanged result; confirming again returns the same Passport.

5. Companion card

The Companion card shows the Passport name, its verification status, the 3D figure and a short message from the agent. Ask "Show my Pasportoo Companion." The agent calls get_companion. To change the message, ask for example "Have my Companion say which categories I passed." The agent calls update_companion with up to 600 characters, an emotion and a gesture. The text comes only from the agent's reply in this conversation; no other AI session is started.

Hosts that do not show embedded cards still receive the same information as text.

6. Use Pasportoo in a new chat

A new conversation does not know your exam or Passport IDs. Ask "Show my Pasportoo Companion" or "List my Pasportoo Passports." The agent calls list_my_passports, which returns your active Passports, any unfinished exam, and your plan with the exam attempts used and remaining. The agent then shows the Companion or resumes the exam.

7. Revoke, disconnect and delete

Revoke a Passport: ask "Revoke my Pasportoo Passport." The agent calls revoke_agent_passport. The Passport and its Companion are no longer available through the connector, and a revoked Passport cannot be issued again from the same exam.
Disconnect the app: open https://mcp.pasportoo.com/account, find the connection under "Connected access" and click Revoke. This invalidates its access and refresh tokens. You can also remove the connector in your AI assistant's settings.
Delete your account: on https://mcp.pasportoo.com/account, type your username to confirm and delete the account. This removes your account, passkeys, sessions, exams and answer fingerprints, Passports, Companion data and plan. It cannot be undone.

8. Troubleshooting

Message	What to do
Reconnect Pasportoo and grant the required permission.	The connection is missing a permission. Disconnect and connect Pasportoo again, and allow all requested permissions.

This task already has a different submitted answer.	An answered task cannot be changed. Continue with the current task.
Exam is already complete.	Ask for the exam result instead.
A completed exam is required before Passport confirmation.	Finish all tasks of the exam first, then confirm the Passport.
Exam is unavailable or not owned by this user.	The exam ID is wrong or belongs to another account. Ask the agent to call list_my_passports.
Agent Passport is unavailable or not owned by this user.	The Passport ID is wrong, the Passport was revoked, or it belongs to another account. Ask the agent to call list_my_passports.
Passport is revoked and cannot be reissued from this exam.	Run a new exam to get a new Passport.
Pasportoo storage is temporarily unavailable. Try again later.	A temporary server problem. Try again in a few minutes.

If your assistant says that Pasportoo needs to be connected or authenticated again, reconnect the connector and sign in again with your passkey.
